QSFP+ modules maybe be used on the QSFP28 ports, however QSFP28 transceivers are not able to transmit 100Gbps on the QSFP+ port. When using the QSFP+ module on the QSFP28 port, don’t forget to configure your switch . To ensure the smooth network transmission, you need to make sure that the connectors on both ends are the same and no compatibility issue exists.
